Ranger

Ranger is a paint, who was donated by Mollie Hutton.  Mollie and Ranger have been friends since Ranger came to live in this area many years ago.  Ranger is a special needs horse.  He is blind in one eye.  Ranger can’t do things like barrels and poles and he needs some modifications on other tasks but he is a hard worker and a very sweet boy.  Ranger seems to know Mollie is his special friend and does anything that she asks him to do, as long as she doesn’t ask him to get into the horse trailer!

Ranger

Ranger is a 7 year old paint who was donated by Brandie Bland.  Ranger has been Brandie’s baby for his entire life until he came to live at A Bit of Hope.  Ranger has previously competed in 4-H competitions in the halter class and has been professionally trained.  Ranger is a big boy with a big heart and just as sweet of a horse as you would ever want to meet.

Elf

Elf is also a 7 year old paint pony who was donated by Brandie Bland.  Elf and Ranger have been life-long pasture buddies and will remain so for as long as they reside at A Bit of Hope.  Even though Elf is the smaller of the duo, he is the boss!  Elf knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to ask.  He likes lots of attention and has no problems demanding it!

Donkey

Donkey was donated to A Bit of Hope by Sheila and George Powers.  He’s just a big backyard pet who enjoys eating treats like Tootsie Rolls!  Donkey is a real cutie, who was named after the donkey in the movie Shrek.  He’s just about as animated as that donkey too!  He hangs out in the pasture with Ranger and they have become the best of pasture buddies!
